nXt is an ongoing commitment and call to action for the DJ industry to provide opportunity for emerging talent and future influencers to be discovered, educated, and inspired year-round.
nXt offers the industry’s brands, dealers, professional DJs, and thought-leaders a first look at the influencers of tomorrow, gain insights on the future consumer and increase brand awareness.
nXt advocates the industry’s wellness by instilling confidence, providing guidance, developing life skills, mentoring, and fostering inclusivity for emerging talent. It is the industry’s bridge between today and tomorrow and supported by the Atlantic City community.
nXt is a promise to support, sponsor, and provide opportunity for the underprivileged through industry collaboration.
nXt launched at DJX ’23 with the nXt DJ Summer Camp, the #UPnXtDJ Competition, a nXt Games lounge on the DJX show floor, nXt Mixers, nXt Showcases and nXt Performance opportunities.

nXt DJ Summer Camp
nXt DJ Summer Camp returns to DJX’24 after gaining national attention with its launch during DJX’23. Students will focus on learning and advancing both life skills, and DJ Skills that build confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Our instructors are passionate, high-profile DJ’s who have proven teaching experience.
DJs ages 13-20 can enroll in the nXt DJ Summer Camp ‘24 and learn from the best. Led by Coach Hapa, one of the industry’s top advocates for a National DJ Education program. Hapa has performed with Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Drake, Bruno Mars, Marshmello and Chromeo + he has performed for Ferrari, AND played at the Grammy’s!

#UPnXtDJ Challenge
Started as a unique collaboration with BASSBOSS and #NoChaser Kidz DJ Café, the #UPnXtDJ Challenge provided an opportunity to showcase emerging talent both virally and at DJX. The #UPnXtDJ Challenge provided a global opportunity for talent ages 8-19 to be discovered.
Prizes were awarded to the 15 top contestants. They ranged from nXt All-Access passes to Showcase Opportunities at DJX. Additional show experiences include onsite activations, education, seminars, workshops, keynotes mixers, tutorials, and demos on the latest gear and technology.
