After its successful launch in ‘24, our "Scratching Simplified" Master Class returns to DJX ‘26. Led by Coach Hapa, The DJ Coach, + surprise celebrity guests, this immersive 2-hour Master Class promises to enhance your DJ game and provide opportunity and elevate your skills and your business. This year's Master Classes at DJX’s 35th Anniversary Event offer another great way to connect with friends and network with other DJs. DJX is opportunity.

DJX MASTER CLASS 1:
SCRATCHING SIMPLIFIED

By popular demand, Scratching Simplified returns to The X. The art of scratching is deeply embedded in DJ culture and understanding its techniques opens new, creative opportunities for all types of DJs. Learn to Scratch and stand out from the crowd.

Class Details: (2 hours of immersive education)

• Wednesday, August 10th 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Capacity: limited to 20-25 attendees
• Cost: $150 (Add-on to your DJX ’26 Pass)

At Scratching Simplified you will learn:

• How to apply scratches to your mix.
• Gain confidence and learn how to create more creative transitions.
• What to look for when scratching in a song.
• To understand basic Music Theory.
• Practice playbook to keep.
• Follow the leader exercises with files to take home.
