DJX ‘26 After Dark: ‘Mell Starr & Friends’ Closing Party

Atlantic City, N.J. – Be at The Balcony Bar (formerly DAER nightclub) in the Hard Rock on Wednesday night, Aug. 12, when DJX’s After Dark series presents “Mell Starr & Friends,” the annual party that delivers diverse DJ talent spinning all genres. 

In this open-format setting, get down to modern and retro sounds spun by the legendary Kool DJ Red Alert, ultra-talented turntablist Melo-D, party-rocker supreme Matthew Law, and, of course, host Mell Starr. Beginning at 11 pm, the event is sponsored by AlphaTheta, RCF, Jetpack Bags and the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound. All badge holders are invited. Are you ready to groove deep into the night at DJX’s closing party? As always, “Mell Starr & Friends” will bring some serious credentials to The Balcony’s DJ booth. “The Most Dangerous, No Headphones” Mr. Mell Starr will get the party started and keep it rolling. With radio icon/mixtape innovator Kool DJ Red Alert serving as the evening’s headliner, original Beat Junkies member Melo-D will display his mad turntable skills, while Matthew Law (of A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records) will demonstrate why he was the DJ picked to play Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary party, among other notable events.
