Walkabout Carriers

Walkabout Carriers are battery powered, wireless, marching-style carrier harnesses designed specifically for electronic musical instruments, and controllers. Our sturdy, yet lightweight carriers eliminate the stationary instrument stand, and all the restrictive cables to provide musicians and DJs the FREEDOM of movement in live performance they have been craving for so long. The Walkabout Pathfinder carrier is our non-battery powered carrier designed for instruments and controllers that have internal battery supply and weighs just 7-8 Lbs. The Walkabout Trailblazer carrier is our flagship model with an onboard rechargeable battery supply and weighs 12-14 Lbs. depending upon the type of battery in use. Both carriers are intended for use with wireless systems - RF guitar style, MIDI, or blue tooth - in small venues, clubs, live stages where the musician can roam within reasonable distance from the PA.

When more self-contained, portable and mobile audio is needed, the Walkabout BoomBox, and Walkabout BoomCube "marching/street amps" provide buskers and marching bands with the solution. The Walkabout BoomBox "marching amp", and BoomCube "street amp" are battery powered, portable amplifiers that attach to existing marching carrier harnesses or mesh with the patented Walkabout Carriers system design. These 'wearable music systems' are highly innovative solutions for musicians and DJs all over the world. Now buskers can perform with all their gear consolidated onto one wearable platform. Marching bands can now use electronic musical instruments in the dynamic performance environment of parades and field shows, without the need of either the wireless, or bulky PA system.

Walkabout Carriers are made of aircraft quality aluminum, and powder coated for a long lasting, scratch resistant finish available in a literal rainbow of colors, so they're lightweight and built to last. Walkabout Carriers have generous padding so they're super comfortable. Walkabout Carriers are fully adjustable to a variety of body types, and now our carriers actually FOLD for easier transportation and storage.
