nXt is an ongoing commitment and call to action to provide opportunity for our future DJ talent to be heard, discovered, educated, and inspired year-round.
nXt offers the industry’s brands, dealers, professional DJs, and thought-leaders a first look at the influencers of tomorrow, gain insights on the future consumer and maintain brand identity.
nXt advocates the industry’s wellness by instilling confidence, offering encouragement, developing life skills, mentoring, and fostering inclusivity for emerging talent. It is the industry’s bridge between today and tomorrow.
nXt launches at DJX ’23 with the following initiatives: The nXt DJ Summer Camp led by Coach Hapa, the #UPnXtDJ Competition, a nXtGames lounge on the DJX show floor, nXt Mixers, and nXtPerformance opportunities.
nXt@DJX launches with a novel set of collaborations
nXt DJ Summer Camp
DJs ages 13-19 can enroll in the nXt DJ Summer Camp, led by Coach Hapa. Coach Hapa is one of the industry’s top advocates for a national DJ Education program. He has performed with Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Drake, Bruno Mars, Marshmello and Chromeo PLUS he has performed for Ferrari, AND played at the Grammy’s!
nXt DJ Summer Camp will focus on learning and advancing both DJ Skills and life skills that build confidence, communication styles and teamwork. nXt DJ Summer Camp instructors are high-profile DJ’s, and all have prior teaching experience.
There is space for only 40 students!
#UPnXtDJ Contest
A unique collaboration with BASSBOSS and #NoChaser Kidz DJ Café brings for the first time the #UPnXtDJ Contest! This is your chance to show off your skills, go viral, and win incredible prizes! The #UPnXtDJ Contest will provide a global opportunity for ages 8-19 to be discovered by a curated panel of experienced judges.
Prizes will be awarded to the 15 top contestants. They range from nXt All-Access passes to performance opportunities at DJX. Additional DJX’23 show floor experiences include onsite activations, education, seminars, mixers, tutorials, and demos on the latest gear and technology.
